the Word " satelles" has come to us from Latin language and designates satelles. Russian concept of the satellite is that - a small gear which tirelessly rotates the basic device.

"Сайт-сателлит" - это так называемый сайт-спутник, созданный исключительно для продвижения главного сайта-портала в поисковых системах путём банальной расстановки на нём тематических ссылок на продвигаемый ресурс. Имея несколько таких маленьких сайтов-спутников и умело продвигая их стандартными методами, мы тем самым продвигаем и основной сайт.

Если сузить спектр применения сателлита, то чаще всего он создаётся для продвижения какой-либо одной узкой темы главного портала. И помните: весомость сателлита измеряется не ТИЦ, а единственно количеством ведущих на него ссылок с более-менее приличных сайтов. Также не следует жадничать - не надо держать более 5 сайтов на одном IP. И что ещё немаловажно - всегда ставьте внутри сетки перекрестные ссылки.
